Auburn Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Auburn Friends of the Library
Thursday, December 7, brought Friends and Auburn Businesses to the Library, for a ribbon cutting as FOL officially became part of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. From the Library steps, the Chamber CEO, Jackie Weston, warmly greeted everyone, expressing her appreciation of FOL’s membership. The Chamber Ambassadors (representing many Auburn businesses) introduced themselves. FOL Vice-president, Michele Young, welcomed all the attendees to the Library, gave an overview of Friends’ activities, and introduced the crowd to the Auburn Librarian, Katherine Cantwell-Cole. Business leaders and Friends enjoyed a snack and visiting on a beautiful sunny December day.
